Shelly Lucille (Ravsten) Tarbet

Shelly Lucille Ravsten Tarbet, born on September 15, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, to Scott and Lareeda Ravsten. She gained her angel wings on June 9, 2024.

On November 24, 1985, she married her sweetheart Edward Dean Tarbet and they shared 39 wonderful years together. Shelly brought in two kids Kevin & Jenna whom Edward adopted with open arms. Together they had Kasey and Tatem. Later they adopted Daxson, Kaion, and Gracie to make their family complete.

Throughout her lifetime Shelly resided in various locations including Ogden, Utah; Yakima, Washington; Garland, Utah before finally settling in Plymouth, Utah for 32 years.

If Shelly was anything it was compassionate, giving, strong and selfless. She loved hard and didn’t expect anything in return. Her favorite thing to say was “I love you to the moon and back.”

Shelly loved her kids and grandkids and loved spoiling them. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, and flowers. She also loved Boyd’s bears and music, especially Freddy Mercury and Bob Seager. Last but not least she loved her crime shows.

Shelly is survived by her husband Edward Dean Tarbet; children Kevin Dean Tarbet, Jenna Lynn Tarbet, Kasey Edward Tarbet, Tatem Beth Tarbet Pitkin (Devin), Daxson Ekewaka Tarbet, Kaion Lionaka Tarbet, Gracie Kawailehua Tarbet; 9 grandkids and 2 great grandkids; siblings Shawna Ravsten Harris, Kevin Ravsten, and Kelly Ravsten.

She is preceded in death by her parents Scott and Lareeda Ravsten; her twin babies; siblings Shirley Ravsten, Susan Ravsten Miller and Curtis Ravsten; nephew Clifford Doutre.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11 A.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E, Tremonton).  The Celebration of Life will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
