Shirley Busby

East Garland-Shirley Jean Johnstun Busby, returned home to her Heavenly Father March 12, 2009. She was born October 12, 1931 in Paradise, Utah to Thelma Westover and Jesse Robert Johnstun. She graduated from Logan High. Shirley married Wm Lyle Busby On September 14, 1951 in the Logan Temple. She has lived in Kaysville, Beaver Dam, and East Garland Ut. Shirley was member of the LDS church in the Hampton Ford Ward. Over the years she has served as Relief Society Pres., Young Women’s Pres., and in the Primary. She gave a lifetime of service to her family and church. Shirley is survived by her husband Wm Lyle Busby, children; Susan Roberts (Larry), Steven Busby (Jolene Scott), Kelly Busby (Terry Darling), Kathleen Roe (Dennis), Pam Johnson (Ron), Sharon Hess (Jeff), Jared Busby, and a brother Garth Johnstun (Janice). She was preceded in death by her daughter Marla Jean Busby, Father, Mother, brothers, Darrel and Blaine Johnstun, and sisters, Betty George and Verlynn Miller. A funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fielding Stake Center, 4375 West 15600 North in Fielding. Family and friends may call Monday, March 16, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm. at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 S Main, Garland and Tuesday from 11:30 am.-12:30 pm. at the Fielding Stake Center.
