Tamara Steed

Tamara Joyce Steed, 61, passed away October 30, 2018.  Tammy was born October 19, 1957 in Tremonton, UT to Harold and Ruth Steed.  She was raised in Plymouth, UT and graduated from Bear River High School.  She had been employed with Lazy boy and ATK Thiokol.  She was blessed with one daughter Jordan and a grandson that was the light of her life.  Tammy was a very talented cook and loved to make chocolates and candy at Christmas time.  She was also a very accomplished leather worker.  She loved science and the medical field and volunteered on the Plymouth E.M.T. squad.  Tammy loved to visit with family and friends and was a great listener.  She loved her nieces and nephews and would do anything for them.  She was a “baby hound” and loved tending, cuddling and rocking the kids whenever needed.  She loved camping and looked forward to her yearly Park City weekend.

She is survived by her daughter Jordan, son-in-law, Skylar Nelson, grandsons Layne and Zayden, brothers Oral Herb (Jeri), Dean (Janet) and Cleve (Sue), sisters Linda and Melba, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, 11:00 am at the Plymouth Cemetery.  Friends and family may call, Thursday from 10:00 – 10:45 am for viewing at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home.
