Thelma Hall

Thelma Maxine Harrill Hall was born July 20, 1917 in Carthage, Missouri, to Charles Franklin and Cora Alice Brown Harrill. She was raised and educated there. She married Harold John Hall on April 10, 1944 in Garland, Utah. On October 17, 1944 the marriage was solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. She served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a teacher in the Primary, the Sunday school and the ward and stake YWMIA. She also served with her husband in the Sunday school at the local care center. She was a visiting teacher in the Relief Society for fifty years. She spent many years as a volunteer at the Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah. She is survived by a son, Richard (Jane) Hall, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son (Robert) six brothers and three sisters, her parents and one great granddaughter (Kathryn). The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Country Pines Independent Living and the Washington Terrace Rehab and Care Center. The funeral will be held at Rogers & Taylor Funeral home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45p.m., at the mortuary chapel prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at the Garland City Cemetery.
