Theodore B. “Ted” Hathaway passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the McKay Dee Medical Center in Ogden Utah. He was surrounded by the love of his family and embraced by loved ones who have been waiting for him. Ted was born on December 11, 1934 in Twin Groves, Idaho to Delbert Earl and Claudia Margaret Hathaway. He married Ronna Smith on June 14, 1954. They moved to Tremonton Utah in the early '60s. Ronna passed away in 1972. He married Gloria Kay Gould on October 19, 1972 in the Ogden temple. They lived in Tremonton and raised a family together for 40 years. He started a business which continues to operate today, was an active member in the LDS church and the community. He served as Kiwanis president and was president of the Utah Towing association. He is survived by his wife Gloria, Ken (Chari) Hathaway, Shellie Struble, Valerie (John) Glover, Rebecka Hathaway, Gary Harrington, T.J. (Diana) Hathaway, Stacie (Gordon) Ferguson, Ben (Adrienne) Hathaway, Dee Hathaway, Holly Harrington-Goss (Robert), Wendy Johansen.30 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ronna, his parents, his brothers Merlin and LaMar, one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. He was well loved and will be greatly missed. The viewing will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral home from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday October 18th at 11am at the Tremonton South Stake Center, 1150 S Tremont St., with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30. Interment will be at the Elwood Cemetery.
