Thomas Miller

Thomas Lee Miller completed his mortal journey here on earth and returned to his heavenly parents on Sunday June 10, 2018. He was born on May 15, 1948 in Tremonton, Utah to his loving parents Ross Boyd Miller and Leone Oyler Miller. Tom was reared in Tremonton and Bountiful. After graduating from Bountiful High School he served 2 years in the armed forces.

He married Julie Vicknair, later divorced.

Tom worked as a fire sprinkler fitter for many years of his life and enjoyed all whom he associated with while working.

Tommy loved cars and building hot rods, this was his passion.  He had several cars throughout his life that he made into “hot rods” with numerous trophies to show for it and was so proud of each one of them.

Most of all, Tommy loved family.  He is survived by his siblings: Steve Miller, Dillon, MT; Merinda (Chris) Larson, Logan, UT; Russ Miller, Tremonton, UT; Mechelle Roundy, Farmington, UT; Brad (Jill) Hatch, Layton, UT; Brent (Tiffany) Hatch, Layton, UT; Melane Hatch, Layton, UT; Carter (Jody) Hatch, Layton, UT; Camie (Keith) Oman, Snowville, UT; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who loved and supported him throughout his life.

He is proceeded in death by his parents: Ross Boyd Miller and Leone Oyler Miller Hatch, brother Brian L. Hatch, sister-in-law Coy Golightly Miller, nephew Steven Boyd (Bo) Miller, niece Hayley Lynn Hatch and niece Erica Oman.

The family will hold a graveside service on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the East Garland cemetery, East Garland, UT where he will be laid to rest.

The family would like to thank the Pioneer Care Hospital and especially CNS/Hospice for the end of life care they provided to our brother the past week. A special thank you for coordinating with the military to come and honor him and present to him a certificate for time served and a United States flag. This was one of the highlights of his life.
