SALT LAKE- Verna Oyler Hyde, 93, passed away at home Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Verna was born February 17, 1921 in East Garland, Utah to Joseph and Mabel Oyler. She married Max Hyde, August 21, 1940 in Brigham City, Utah and was sealed in the Logan Temple December 10, 1941.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max, sons Dennis and Darrel and granddaughter Bethany. She is survived by her children Oleen Hyde (Ann), Loraine Haggerty (Mike), Luana Hyde and daughter-in-law Linda Hyde.

She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Verna was most happy serving others; she had a contagious laugh and was blessed by having a wonderful family and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at 12:00pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00-11:30am. Interment, Riverview Cemetery.
