V. Glade Loveless

August 26, 1925 — August 14, 2015

GARLAND– Vaughn Glade Loveless was born August 26, 1925 in Payson, Utah. He died August 14, 2015 at the age of 89 in Ogden, Utah. He was the son of Vaughn Tillman Loveless and Laurel “E” Dimmick.

He had eight siblings: Faye Hall (Deceased), Ned Tillman (Gladys) Loveless (Deceased), Laurel Madge (Ezra) Garner (Deceased), Aleene (Edward) Gebs (Deceased), Donnel Lynn  (IvaDee) Loveless (Deceased), OmaLee (Fredrick) Richins (Deceased), Sheldon LeRoy (Janice) Loveless, Gerald David (Pat-Deceased) Loveless.

He married Betty Jean Ivie on June 10, 1954. They were married 26 years and had 6 children; Calvin Wayne Loveless, Darrell Clyde (Deceased) (Mona) Loveless, Steven Glade (Carol) Loveless, Jerry Thor Loveless (Deceased), Judy Gail (Dusty) Pike, and Joyce Guilda Loveless (Deceased).

Glade married Dorothy Ann Yates Seager on November 9, 1984, which added 4 step-children; Lonnie Seager (Deceased), Bart Seager, Casey Seager, and Shauna (Ken) Wicks. Dorothy passed away in June of this year. He had 21 grandchildren and 43+ great-grandchildren.

He worked hard all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. When he retired, he enjoyed reading western books and gardening. He loved attending church and his favorite calling, being a nursery leader, was the last one Dorothy and he got to do together.

Funeral Services for Glade will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland Tabernacle (140 W. Factory St) with a viewing held prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Following the service, burial will take place in the Fielding, UT Cemetery.
