Wendy Carter

Honeyville- Wendy “Lou” Carter, 41, passed away on December 23, 2019 in Tremonton, Utah. She was born on January 24, 1978 in Ogden, Utah to Johnny B. Smith & Jalene Kraft. She was raised in Hooper. She attended Roy High School and graduated from Fremont High.

On June 3, 2000, Wendy married the love of her life, Brandon Carter. They later made their home in Honeyville, Utah. They were blessed with three wonderful children: Mercedes, Hayden, and Weston.

Wendy excelled in her career doing clerical work for trucking and manufacturing companies. Once her health declined, she devoted all of her time to being the best stay at home Mom she could be.

She loved spending time outdoors, especially camping and hunting. She also enjoyed crafting and poetry. She had an amazing love for animals.  Her greatest love was to spend time with her husband and children.

“I love you more than you’ll ever know” your loving husband, Brandon.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Brandon Dan Carter; children, Mercedes Hailey Carter, Hayden Leon Carter, and Weston Lane Carter; father, Johnny B. Smith (Jan); mother, Jalene Kraft (Craig); two brothers, Brandon C. Smith (Kelly) and Lucas J Smith (Jessie); ten nieces and nephews; grandparents, Lora Smith & Clifford Smith; and many Aunts & Uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John J. Frew and Charlene Weaver.

No formal services will be held at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring.
