William (Bill) Henry Spencer passed away unexpectedly in Tremonton, Utah on Dec 23, 2014 at the age of 37. Bill was born Nov 24, 1977 in Idaho Falls, ID to Lloyd and Marilyn Spencer.
Bill has many friends. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, bull riding, and always lived his life to the fullest. He achieved the status of Eagle Scout. He graduated in 1996 from Hillcrest High School in Idaho Falls. He attended the college of Southern Idaho to receive a welding certificate in 1997.
He married the love of his life, Kristy Jensen, in 1998 in Pocatello ID. They have three beautiful children together. After moving to Tremonton, UT, Bill began work at Nucor as a welder. Bill found the career he loved more than anything when he became a fireman for Tremonton City and soon after a fireman/driver engineer for Weber County Fire. He strived to continuously increase his education and advance his career.
He was recognized as 2013 firefighter of the year by the Tremonton City Fire Department. He always sought to help those around him. He was admired and respected by those who knew him. His good natured teasing and continuous smile will be deeply missed.
His children remember him as a strong, fun loving, proud, and honest father who loved spending time with them.
Bill is survived by his wife, Kristy Jensen Spencer; his children, Taycen, Tegan, and Calie; his parents, Lloyd and Marilyn Spencer of Idaho Falls, ID; his siblings, David Spencer of Salt Lake City, UT; Eric and Windie Spencer of Cheney, WA; Nathan and Gloria Spencer of Rigby, ID; James Spencer of Eugene, OR; and Rachel and Matthew Cowger of Idaho Falls, ID; and his beloved baby dogs Russell and Charlie.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Tremonton South Stake Center (1150 South Tremont St., Tremonton, UT). Viewings will be held Monday December 29, 2014 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 11:00 am-12:30 pm, prior to the service, both at the Tremonton South Stake Center.
The family would like to thank the Fire and Emergency personnel and Bill's personal friends for their efforts and dedication trying to help him. No words can express the gratitude we feel for the love and support from everyone.
