Zelda Ann Smiley

Zelda Ann Smiley passed away on August 7, 2023, in Brigham City, Utah. She was born on July 16, 1964, in Ogden, Utah to Vella Mae Peyope Smiley & Harry Lee Smiley.

Throughout her life, she has lived in places like Tremonton and Brigham City, Utah, and Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Bear River High school, and was a secretary at the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation.

She loved putting together puzzles, playing Coinmaster and Best Fiends on her phone, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Zelda is survived by her children, Kathren Smiley and Manuel Smiley Jr.; Her grandchildren Monica, Ben, Dakoda, Homer, Dezire, and Jaxon; Her great grandchildren Alaia, Izaiah, Xavier; and her sisters Geneva, Lola, and Louise.

Zelda is preceded in death by her parents Vella Mae Peyope Smiley & Harry Lee Smiley, her bother Jerry Lee, and her sister, Lisia Ann.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to CNS Hospice, Fyre and Leora for making her last days comfy, also Robin Troxell her very best friend for taking special care of her family’s needs during the last part of her life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 1 P.M. with a viewing held prior from 11 A.M. -12:30 P.M. All services will be held at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E, Tremonton). Interment will be held at the Washakie Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
